3. What is sex trafficking?

Sex trafficking is a form of human trafficking that involves using force, fraud, or coercion to compel a person to perform sexual services against their will. It is not the same thing as sex work. Our call to decriminalize sex work does not mean we want to make sex trafficking legal. Human trafficking is against the law and should remain against the law.

We believe every person deserves access to resources, support, and choices so that no person feels economically or socially pressured to engage in any form of sexual activity they don’t want to engage in.
